An F-16 fighter jet made an emergency landing Thursday night at Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport after its pilot reported engine trouble, an airport spokesman said.

Holly Kemler, a spokesman for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, said the jet affiliated with the Ohio Air National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing landed without incident after the pilot declared an emergency.

The emergency landing occurred about 10 p.m. Ms. Kemler referred further inquiry to the air guard base, whose spokesman was not immediately available for comment.
